"I am afraid of...growing old too soon, of having my body worn out before my soul is past childhood...I shiver at the thought of losing my strength before I have found [it]; to have my senses fail ere I have a stock of rational pleasures, my blood cold ere my heart is warmed with virtue! Strange, to look back on a train of years that have passed, 'as an arrow through the air,' without leaving any mark behind them, without our being able to trace them in our improvement!" John Wesley

October Goals
I'm not sure why, but I didn't accomplish much in September. A death in the family resulted in some time out of town and away from computer, but not enough to account for the lack of progress.
I think you need a comment.
ReplyDeleteI find your comments on Rachelle Gardner's blog always interesting. I find your website comments interesting. Are you really as busy as it seems? How can you do so much. You must never have writer's block.
Thanks for the comment, Anonymous. I don't get many.
ReplyDeleteYes, I stay pretty busy. But often at night, after getting home at 6PM, reading for pleasure for an hour, eating supper and watching some news, I get down to my computer at 8 PM and find my mind too tired to do much.
I rarely get writers block. I just lack motivation far too often.
